How Do I Know God?

I am a full time Christian and I am proud to say I know what I am talking about when it comes to the things of God. To be honest I don't know how I came up with this question How Do I Know God? Let us just say by accident. The question in its context is a brought question, yes. But luckily enough, we have been provided with a book that best explain who God is. Now I am not going to give a doctrine class of who God is. Read on as we explain the Bible together.

Like someone with a fair understanding of who God is, I can dare to say people who come up with such a question like this ''How Do I Know God?'' are close. A little lesson before we go into Bible context to find out who God is. Man does not go to God, He comes to man. He can either come in person (in the form of the Holy Spirit) through a fellow human being some times angels and some times human messengers.

He created Heaven and Earth Ge:1:1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
He created man Ge:1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Man became wicked in his ways and He destroyed the world Ge:6:13: And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

He made a promise to the only man that was left alive that He will not destroy the world again Ge:9:17: And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

Man still became wicked in his ways, this time He send his only begotten son Joh:3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Now this article ''How Do I Know God?'' is just an outlined of who God is. Trying to but together what He can do, What is He like, and what visions He has for His creation.

  1. "And for Your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man." Gen. 9:5 To which man did God give this promise? and it was not Noah or any of his sons.

    1. Hi Theodore A. Jones
You have a tough question here
but if you look at Ge:9:4: But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
God was telling them (Noah and his sons) what they are allowed to kill and eat
But that did not include the flesh of man.
